I was delighted to find Firat Altay as the music teacher and piano teacher for my daughter. I have found her to be very compassionate, truly committed and a very experienced teacher. My daughter enjoys her piano lessons and looks forward to the lessons each week. Firat makes music lessons very easy to understand and interesting for the young minds and my daughter is picking up very well. Firat is an excellent piano teacher. She has been teaching me for over one year and I have found her to be patient, calm and innovative in her ways of teaching music. She quickly understands my abilities and matches her teaching tempo to my learning capacity. She is a highly accomplished musician with an in-depth knowledge of music. Firat truly makes each lesson an extremely interesting and informative experience, and encourages a sense of musical exploration and self-challenge to the student. - Keriman T. (pupil), London |

I have been delighted by Firat's dedication, musicality and enthusiasm to educate beyond mere playing. Her ‘holistic’ approach opens so many dimensions: from the right warming up exercises, posture and movement to the understanding of music theory, the structure of the piece, the intention of the composer to contemplating the soundscape and visualising the pictures made by the music… She is a completely dedicated, thoughtful and very talented musician. It is a pleasure being her student. - Jane C. (pupil), London |

I have found Firat to be very professional in her work, and above all to be a VERY effective teacher - precise, kind, organised and with excellent delivery of the subject. I would highly recommend her to all age levels! - Bernadette N. (parent), London |
