Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the Violin to pupils of varying standards and all ages.
I also teach beginner/Intermediate Harp.


How much do you charge?
I normally charge between £25-£30 per hour. Families with more than one child learning can receive a group lesson discount.


Where do you teach?
I teach mainly in the South East of London at the moment, normally at my home, but am willing to travel if within reasonable distance of Greenwich, where I'm situated.


When are you available?
Weekends are great for me but I also have many evenings free during the week. I'm quite flexible.


Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and standards, young children to adults of any age, beginner to very advanced.


Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
Yes.


Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BMus(Hons) in performance, LTCL. I am studying for MMus, final year, and have the FTCL diploma. I have 4 AS-Levels, 2 A-Levels and 11 GCSEs.


Do you belong to any professional organisations?
The ISM.


Where and with whom did you train?
I've studied at a variety of good institutions including: Llandaff Cathedral School, The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (junior dept), Wells Cathedral School on a "specialist musician" scholarship and Trinity College of Music. I've studied with great teachers including Michael Bochmann and Patricia Knoall.


What kind of experience do you have?
I have played professionally with the English Symphony Orchestra and many London semi-professional groups, have performed in solo recitals in many venues including Southwark Cathedral. I teach for Southwark Music Education Service and am a private violin tutor with Learning Street Tutors. I also have placements with Surrey Arts and Havering Music Service.


Do you have a personal message for students?
Music is to be enjoyed, and I aim to help my students improve a lot whilst having a good time, playing a variety of different music.
