Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach flute, singing and piano.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BMus (hons) degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (2:1) where I studied the flute and I am currently studying for a Masters in the flute at the Royal Academy of Music. I also have grade 8 in singing and piano.
What kind of experience do you have?
I been a private peripatetic music teacher for many years teaching both beginners and more advanced students. I also cover other instrumental teachers' lessons when they are unavailable, so far, on flute and clarinet.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 an hour for flute and singing and £28 an hour for piano. In addition, I would charge for the cost of travel.
Where do you teach?
I generally teach at home but I can teach at students' homes as well. I am based in St Albans (Hertfordshire), but can teach in North and Central London quite easily. I can also teach in Hemel Hempstead, Harpenden, Luton, Watford, Radlett.
When are you available?
I am quite flexible and can teach most evenings during the week (apart from mondays). I teach in St Albans at the weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
For flute I teach all levels including post grade 8 standard. Singing I teach up to and including grade 8 standard. Piano I teach up to and including grade 5 standard.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I do not have a CRB check but I would be able to get one if necessary.
