Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach primary English, maths, and science. I also teach KS3 geography as I like to make use of the knowledge I gained during my degree.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been working as a supply teacher in primary schools since qualifying. I find that this gives me the opportunity to see the wide range of methods that schools use as these are often different. Throughout my undergraduate degree I worked in a variety of educational settings, I tutored in secondary schools and gave talks and workshops within the university for primary age students to develop their interest in geography. Between my undergraduate degree and my PGCE I worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a local school, in this role I specialised in providing catch-up sessions for groups of students that had fallen behind in the classroom.
How much do you charge?
I charge £25 for a KS2 or KS3 lesson, a KS1 lesson is £20. I do not charge travel expenses.
Where do you teach?
I teach at the student's home. I will travel up to 10 miles from where I live. I live near Redhill, on the borders or Surrey and West Sussex. I will travel to Crawley, Caterham, Redhill, Reigate, Godstone, Horley and the surrounding areas.
When are you available?
I am available weekdays and weekends (am/pm).
I am also available to run sessions during school holidays with plenty of notice.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Ages: 5-14
KS1-3
May consider older if the child is working at a lower level.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Cluefinders

Cluefinders is a PC game that is very useful for teaching children a wide range of skills without them even realising that they are learning. It covers maths, English, science, geography and problem solving.  I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get their children interested in learning.
