Personal Message
I am an enthusiastic music tutor located in Birmingham Centre. I study Saxophone at Birmingham Conservatoire with Naomi Sullivan and Anna Brooks.
I have been playing music since the age of 7, and it is something I am very passionate about.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Music, with focus on saxophone, classical, jazz or just for fun, I also teach music theory and am registered to enter pupils for ABRSM examinations if they wish.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am currently in the 3rd year of a BMus (Hons) studying Saxophone at Birmingham Conservatoire, I also have a grade 8 in violin and a grade 6 in piano.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have experience of teaching children from the age of five, through to adults. I have also done group workshops in a local school introducing the children to different instruments and where they come from. I am also currently teaching through the organization 'Melody' which is an organization supporting people with special needs in their musical learning, so I am able to teach students with mild special needs.
How much do you charge?
I charge £10 per half hour lesson and £15 per hour lesson
Group lessons of two students at a time are available in hour sessions, at £10 per student
Where do you teach?
I teach at Birmingham Conservatoire, where I can book rooms to teach in. I prefer not to travel to students' homes wherever possible.
When are you available?
I teach mainly in term time, and am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, and also on Sundays
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Saxophone students must be a minimum of 9/10 years of age, I teach children and adults of any age beyond that. Theory students must be able to read and write.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
