BMus(Hons) Specialisation: Performance
ABRSM - Grades 1-8 Music Exams
ABRSM - Grade 1-5 Theory
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching for over a year privately in and around my local area.
I also work as a piano teacher for two companies teaching group and one on one lessons.
I predominantly teach Classical, but am happy to teach the basics of pop/ contemporary and jazz piano too.
How much do you charge?
I charge £12 for half an hour, £18 for 45 minutes and £24 for an hour.
Prices include travel expenses.
Discount for anyone walking distance away and group lessons.
Any pre consultations are free.
Where do you teach?
I teach at students' homes.
Am able to teach in local areas to me - Surbiton, Kingston Upon Thames, New Malden, Richmond, Raynes Park, Wimbledon
Due to having a car I am willing to travel further afield as well to other places in Surrey/ Greater London (no more than 15 miles).
When are you available?
I am available Monday - Saturday in the day and evening.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach a range of age and abilities - from complete beginner who has no musical experience, to the more advanced just looking for more help and guidance rather than a lesson.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare students for ABRSM Graded piano exams and theory 1-8, as well as all Trinity Guildhall Graded piano exams.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I have a CRB check dated December 2010 and am in the process of getting an Enhanced CRB.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I have a wide range of ages of students I currently teach, all at mixed abilities - my youngest is 4 and oldest 74.
