Personal Message: I specialise in offering courses for small groups of students for the June and December ACCA examinations.
Which subject(s) do you teach?: ACCA papers F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, P1 and P6
Tell me about your qualifications.: I am FCCA qualified and also hold a Cert Ed teacher certifciate.
What kind of experience do you have?: I was a Corporate Tax Accountant for 16 years and then a tutor in FE/HE colleges for 10 years.
How much do you charge?: Group sessions work out at about £8 and hour. For one to one sessions I charge £30 per hour during the day and £35 an hour after 6pm.
Where do you teach?: All sessions are in my own home between Worthing and Brighton in West Sussex.
When are you available?: I offer day and evening courses: September start for the December examinations and January start for the June examinations. I break for school holidays and half term. I also offer revision courses of 4 or 5 weeks for most courses.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I only teach adults.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?: I only teach the ACCA examinations and all students must be registered with ACCA.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: CRB tested
Do you belong to any professional organisations?: ACCA
Tell me about some of your current students.: One of my recent Audit students achieved the highest mark worldwide in her paper. Another student was awarded the ACCA Simpson Scholarship.
