Which subject(s) do you teach?
Cello and chamber music.

As a professional performer and teacher, I have much to offer students. Highlights with the Fitzwilliam String Quartet include concerts at Kings Place and Conway Hall in London, broadcasts on BBC Radio, cruises of the Aegean Sea, CD recordings and numerous tours throughout the UK and abroad.
Before joining the FSQ, I studied cello at Memorial University of Newfoundland, McGill University in Montreal, the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland and finally Stony Brook University in New York where I completed a Doctorate of Music. My main cello teachers were Antonio Lysy and Colin Carr.
Since moving to London, I have worked as a freelance cellist in a number of orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
I have given recitals in North America, Britain and Europe. Earlier this year I performed Shostakovich's Concerto No. 2 with the Academy of St. Olave's in York.

I have been teaching cellists of all ages and levels since 2003. I also give masterclasses and workshops, most recently at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and at Benslow Music, Hitchin.
