Personal Message: I am a French native speaker and I have worked in a 6th form college teaching French conversation and helping students preparing for their exams. I have been teaching for 8 years and have had a high success rate.
Which subject(s) do you teach?: I teach French GCSE AS/A level with AQA or EDEXCEL
Tell me about your qualifications.: I have French qualifications (Deug D'anglais)
What kind of experience do you have?: As part of my degree I worked as a French assistant in Northumberland for a year.
From 2003 to 2011 I worked in a 6th form college teaching French conversation, motivating and preparing students for their AS or A level exam.
I have also given private tuitions to GCSE students AS/A level students and adults.
How much do you charge?: Student/adult rates: I charge £20 per student, £30 for two. The first consultation lesson is £20 where an assessment of the skills is made. Adults £30 each £45 for two.
Where do you teach?: I teach only from my home in Farnborough in Hampshire
When are you available?: I am available at different times throughout different days so it is best to contact me. I do not work during school holidays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: The levels I teach are GCSE, AS and A levels.
I can also do French conversation on its own to people of 15 +
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: I do have an up-to-date CRB.
Tell me about some of your current students.: My curent students are in year 10, 11 and 12 preparing for their GCSE and AS French and trying to gain as much confidence as possible. This is mostly done through games and practice. I also have students preparing for the OU exam.
Do you have a personal message for students?: I do assess each student as they come and tailored lessons are made to suit. My approach to learning is relaxed and empowers students to be in control of their own learning therefore giving them confidence in their own abilities.
