Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach French on a tailor-made basis (all levels and abilities, including GCSE and A level for teenagers and adults. After an initial free consultation, I will design a plan to suit your needs and pace.
I also offer group tuition.


Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a First Class Degree (BA Honours) in Modern Languages studies (French and Spanish) and a Further and Adult education teacher's certificate.


What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught in Australia (Alliance Francaise in Melbourne and primary school in Geelong), in London (Alliance Francaise) and in Tunbridge Wells (Adult Education Centre, Cicero Language School and privately).


How much do you charge?
Private tuition : £25/h (GCSE, A levels students and adults).
Groups : £25/hour + £5 for each additional student (ex: £ 50 for 6 people).


Where do you teach?
Mainly from home, in Tunbridge Wells. However, I am willing to travel to your company, in T.Wells or very near (Southborough, Pembury, Langton Green, Tonbridge, etc) if it is more convenient for you.


When are you available?
Weekdays only, daytime and evening.


Which ages and levels do you teach?
Secondary school and adults.


Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Teenagers : GCSE, AS and A2, all boards.
Adults : Edexcel IGCSE and Edexcel AS/A2 (exam taken in London centre).


Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes. Copy on request.


Where and with whom did you train?
Alliance Francaise in Melbourne and London/ City and Guilds London/ Open University UK.


Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently helping an A level student achieve her A grade, and we are practising her oral presentation as well as polishing her grammar.
Among my adult students is a mother of 5, finally finding time for herself after years given to the children, and thoroughly enjoying her lessons ; especially after she discovered France last summer and put her new skills to the test.


Do you have a personal message for students?
Yes! Nothing is impossible....there is a method perfectly suited to your needs and learning ability out there and I will definitely identify it and put it to good use. Lessons should be enjoyable, varied and well targetted. Provided you do your homework, there is nothing you can't do!
