Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach French on a tailor-made basis. You tell me what you need and we agree on a plan to suit your ability, pace and preferred learning mode. I also offer group tuition, informally or in companies, as well as short themed courses : Grammar boost & Improving your writing skills.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a First Class Degree (BA Honours) in Modern Languages studies (French and Spanish) and a Further and Adult education teacher's certificate.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught for many years in Australia (Melbourne), in London (Alliance Francaise) and in Tunbridge Wells (adult Education Centre, Cicero Language School and privately). I teach adults at all levels (one-to-one and in groups), as well as GCSE and A level students.

How much do you charge?
I charge £25/h for GCSE, A levels students and adults.
Groups are £25/hour + £5 for each additional student (ex: £ 50 for 6 people).
Themed courses : £30/h per student, per lesson.
Lesson on Skype : £30/hour

Where do you teach?
Mainly from home, in Tunbridge Wells. However, I am willing to travel to your home or company, in T.Wells or very near (Southborough, Pembury, Langton Green, Tonbridge, etc).
It may be more convenient for you to meet on Skype (with camera). See below for details.

When are you available?
Weekdays only, daytime and evening.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
Secondary school and adults.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Teaching on Skype. I usually send my students some material by email, prior to meeting on Skype, in order to maximise the learning experience when in session. Price for one hour session is £30.

Alliance Francaise in Melbourne and London/ City and Guilds London/ Open University UK.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently helping an A level student achieve her A grade, and we are practising her oral presentation as well as polishing her grammar.
Among my adult students is a mother of 5, finally finding time for herself after years given to the children, and thoroughly enjoying her lessons ; especially after she discovered France last summer and put her new skills to the test.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Yes! Nothing is impossible....there is a method perfectly suited to your needs and learning ability out there and I will definitely identify it and put it to good use. Lessons should be enjoyable, varied and well targetted. Provided you do your homework, there is nothing you can't do!
