- I teach Music both practical and academic at all levels. I also am willing to help with any university applications and offer interview technique advice.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- In 2010 I graduated from Clare College, University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Music (2:1). I have A-Levels in Music (A), Maths (A), Physics, (A) and Economics (A) and AS-Level Chemistry and Biology (A). I have taken ABRSM exams in Flute (Grade 8 Distinction) and Piano (Grade 8 Distinction) Singing (Grade 8 Distinction) and Theory (Grade 8 Distinction) as well as the AmusTCL diploma in Music. I was in Clare College Choir for 4 years.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- My experience includes teaching multiple private pupils singing and piano on a part time basis. I have also attended many teaching training courses by the top tutoring companies in the country.
During my time at University I was in charge of many musical and theatre productions, many of which involved teaching young amateur choruses as well as outreach programs to schools, running workshops and masterclasses. I currently have pupils in and around London. I recently gained the highest tier rating with Blue Tutors for quality of teaching. - How much do you charge?
- My basic rate is £25 per hour. Discounts are available per person for group lessons, and I can offer a consultation lesson for a reduced fee. There is a small surcharge for lessons shorter than one hour. I am happy to travel to teach, but may have to negotiate an extra charge for a considerable distance. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your individual requirements.
- Where do you teach?
- I can teach at my home or will travel to students' homes or mutually convenient locations such as coffee shops. I live in Whitechapel, London but am happy to travel to the students area if that is convenient though I may ask for the fee to include expenses.
- When are you available?
- My availability is flexible, including evenings and weekends; please get in touch to discuss your requirements. I am able to offer tuition during school holidays as well as term time.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- For all music tuition I teach any age and level. I also am willing to help with any university applications and offer interview technique advice.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes
