Personal Message
I am a young and enthusiastic flautist, actively performing and teaching in London.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Flute/Piccolo
Tell me about your qualifications.
BMus Upper Second Honours, Goldsmiths University of London
Grade 8 Flute Honours
What kind of experience do you have?
I have 3 years experience teaching flute privately, children and adults, one-to-one. I have been teaching for a year with 'Every Child a Musician', an exciting project in East London, which involves teaching 9-11 year olds in small groups in their primary school.
How much do you charge?
£25 per hour
£15 for 30mins.
(Group lessons are great if you want to reduce the cost and learn with your friends!)

This includes travel costs for SW, SE and E London. For addresses in areas other than these the price may be slightly higher to accommodate for travel expenses.
Where do you teach?
I travel to the student's homes to teach. Areas included in my price are: Lewisham, Greenwich, Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Bromley, Croydon, Bexley, Newham, Barking and Dagenham, Tower Hamlets.
I'm happy to travel to other parts of London.
When are you available?
Daytime and evening, including Saturdays, during school term time only.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from age 7+ from absolute beginners to grade 8 standard.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM and Guildhall/Trinity: Flute examinations Gr1-8, Music Theory Gr1-5
GCSE, A-Level, BTec Music support.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Skype
Where and with whom did you train?
I have had one to one lessons with Paul Edmund-Davies, Greg Patillo (flute beat-boxer), Kate Hill and Patricia Morris (Piccolo) and taken part in masterclasses with Ian Mullin and Simon Channing.
At university I studied with Sarah O'Flynn, and I currently study privately with Rowland Sutherland.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I like to make music fun and for students to find me approachable. I focus on bringing out an individual's creativity as much as learning technique on the flute and I like to present my students with a range of styles, especially for children to realise the potential of their music making.
