I am a very experienced English Language and English Literature teacher with over twelve years experience.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
English Literature and English Language.
Tell me about your qualifications.
BA (Hons) in English Literature, History and American Studies.
PGCE in English Literature.
TEFL - Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
What kind of experience do you have?
KS2 - exam marker. KS3 exam marker. GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature exam markers.
One-to-one tuition experience - including preparation for 11 plus and Common Entrance exams.
Twelve years English teaching (Full-time and Part-time) in the state sector.
How much do you charge?
£25 per hour. £30 per hour for A-level tuition.
Where do you teach?
I can teach in my home or travel to the students' homes. I am willing to travel in the Berkshire area but that would lead to an increase in costs due to travelling expenses.
When are you available?
I am very flexible if the student is able to come to my house - slightly less flexible if I have to travel.

8 years to adult.

I am a very professional, experienced and committed English teacher who strives to ensure all of my students achieve their full potential. All students that I have tutored have always achieved the grades and levels they needed to ensure success. I don't anticipate that this would be any different for any of my future students!
