- Welcome to my page! I am a trumpet player, songwriter and teacher, currently in my final year studying at Leeds College of Music for a degree in music.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach Trumpet (Bb, C, D, Eb) jazz trumpet and cornet. I can also teach bass guitar.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I am currently studying for a BA (Hons) Music at Leeds College of Music and I also have Grade 8 trumpet.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have done teaching modules at College aimed at teaching me how to teach effectively. I have also taught and mentored several players while at school and at college. Aswell as this I have experience of leading workshops with children of primary school and secondary school ages. I have run workshops at the Leeds College of Music Saturday Music School, and I teach privately on a regular basis.
- How much do you charge?
- £20 a lesson, with the first lesson free!
- Where do you teach?
- I have space at my house in Leeds but I can teach at students home if you prefer.
- When are you available?
- I'm flexible and can find a time that suits us both. Best bet is to contact and find out!
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I can teach any age and any level, from beginners to grade 8 and beyond.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- Any of the ABRSM grades or similar exam board.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- I have totally up to date, enhanced CRB disclosure. I also have a certificate in safeguarding.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- No matter what your doing, enjoy yourself!
