I teach Guitar (electric and acoustic). I teach a range of styles specialising in blues (electric, acoustic, and slide),
More than 30 years experience playing and recording guitar, and more than 20 years teaching experience (I’ve had a few years off to be a full-time dad).
- How much do you charge?
My rate is £25 per hour, £20 for 45 mins, and £15 for 30 mins. .
- Where do you teach?
I teach at my home in the Headington Quarry area of Oxford. I also offer online video lessons.
- When are you available?

- Do you have a personal message for students?
Just starting out on guitar or looking for a way to progress your playing? It can be frustrating on your own. I can help you become the guitar player you want to be. If you're a beginner and don't yet have a guitar, I'll be more than happy to offer some advice as to what kind of instrument will best suit you.
My home is ideally laid out for teaching in these difficult times. My teaching room is just inside the front door (where there will be hand sanitizer available), the room itself is big enough for social distancing, and there is natural ventilation.
