Tell me about some of your current students.
Although many of my students play for pleasure, I get many classical guitarists progressing through the ABRSM syllabus up to Grade 8 and many electric guitarists taking the 'Rock School' syllabus. Aural,Theory and general musicianship are covered in the lesson for those students requiring it. One of my most recent students has just started a course for session musicians at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Please do not feel inhibited by age or standard. Over the years I have taught pupils ranging from 6yrs old to mid 70's! All abilities welcome and you do not have to follow any syllabus. Give it a go - the first lesson is free!
