As a player I have given recitals both in London and the local area, the last recital being Rodrigo's Guitar concerto with Staffordshire String Orchestra.

- I teach at home in Egerton Road Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent (just off Albany Road).
- When are you available?
- Free for private tuition at weekends and weekdays after 4pm as well as school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach all ages and all levels from beginners to advanced.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
- The Registry of Guitar Tutors.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- In London with Classical Guitarist Carlos Bonell, who at the time was professor of guitar at the Royal College of Music.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- Although many of my students play for pleasure, I get many classical guitarists progressing through the ABRSM syllabus up to Grade 8 and many electric guitarists taking the 'Rock School' syllabus. Aural,Theory and general musicianship are covered in the lesson for those students requiring it. One of my most recent students has just started a course for session musicians at the Royal Northern College of Music.

- Please do not feel inhibited by age or standard. Over the years I have taught pupils ranging from 6yrs old to mid 70's! All abilities welcome and you do not have to follow any syllabus. Give it a go - the first lesson is free!
