Tell me about your qualifications.: BA in Music (Durham University)
DipABRSM (Piano performance)
MA (currently studying) in Flute performance (Royal Academy of Music)
What kind of experience do you have?: I'm in my final year of my MA at the Royal Academy of Music, where I've played principal flute under Sir Colin Davis and have participated in the Academy's LSO Wind, Brass and Percussion scheme. I've played in masterclasses for Gareth Davies, Emily Beynon, William Bennett and Jacques Zoon. On the piano I was awarded an ABRSM Silver Bursary and a performance Diploma. I'm an experienced teacher and teach both children and adults on both instruments.
How much do you charge?: Consultation £10 (45mins), £25/hr or £20/45mins thereafter.
Where do you teach?: At home in N17 (flute only) or Zones 1-3, further possible if additional travel expenses covered.
When are you available?: Available most days/times as I work around a flexible student timetable.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: All ages and abilities on flute, up to Grade 8 on piano.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Full CRB
Where and with whom did you train?: I'm currently studying with Michael Cox, Karen Jones and Pat Morris (piccolo) at the RAM.
