- I am a Spanish orchestral conductor, former physicist, and teacher.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach conducting, music theory, classical harmony, and voice, all levels. Maths and Physics, all pre-university levels. And Spanish: grammar, vocabulary, preparation for specific tests.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a Master's Degree in Conducting from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester; and a Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Madrid. I have Bachelor's Degrees in Singing, Piano, Orchestral and Choral conducting, with emphasis in Music Theory and Harmony, from the Conservatorio of Madrid, Spain. Spanish is my first language.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I teach at the Junior RNCM, where I coach chamber groups and conduct the instrumental and vocal ensembles, and teach conducting. I have been private tutor in Spain for many years, teaching music theory, physics and maths.
- How much do you charge?
- £20 per lesson. Travel expenses are extra.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at home. I am located near the University of Manchester and the university region in the city centre. The nearest train stations are Oxford Road, Deansgate and Piccadilly. I can also teach in the Manchester area.
- When are you available?
- I am quite flexible and available most days and times.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I can teach all ages and levels for Music and Spanish. Maths and Physics until A-level.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.
