Which subject(s) do you teach?: I specialise in teaching public speaking and presentation skills and work with the mind, body and voice to achieve the best results. My coaching and drama background informs my work. I also teach interview skills and assist with CV writing and assist with job applications. I am a qualified Life Coach and can inspire and motivate to achieve what you really want. In relation to this I can empower you to lead a more creative and fulfilling life.
Tell me about your qualifications.: I have a BSc (Honours) degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work. I am also qualified as a Life Coach and have a Practitioner Certificate in Neuro-linguistic-programming. I also have a LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) qualification- grade 8 and a PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector) qualification.
What kind of experience do you have?: I have nearly twenty years experience of coaching and have coached a wide variety of people from actors to unemployed people to doctors and lawyers. I have over eight years drama experience, completing numerous courses, many at Bristol University and also taking part in several productions. I also have over twelve years experience of practising Chi Kung.
How much do you charge?: I offer a free initial consultation either in person or over the telephone. For Public Speaking Coaching and Life Coaching I charge £45 per hour. For coaching with small groups the price for the individual is reduced.
Where do you teach?: I teach at my home in Bristol and can travel to students' homes by arrangement.
When are you available?: I am available most days and some evenings and week ends
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I teach adults and young people at college or university.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Yes, I have an enhanced CRB disclosure certificate.
