Which subject(s) do you teach?: I teach the Japanese language incl. GCSE and AS, alongside Japanese culture if requested.
Tell me about your qualifications.: National Certificate for Teacher of Japanese Language at Japanese Junior High school and High school/
Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a foreign language/
Teaching Japanese calligraphy/
Bachelor's Degree in Development Psychology
What kind of experience do you have?: Teaching at Japanese Junior High School in Japan and in Amsterdam, the Netherlands for 9 years/
Teaching Japanese as a foreign language at companies and to individuals in the Netherlands for 12 years/
Teaching Japanese as a foreign langauge to individuals in Bali, Indonesia for 2 years
How much do you charge?: 25 pounds per hour within Zone 1 and 2. If it's the outside of Zone 2, some traveling expenses could be added depending on the distance. If you want to learn for a longer session, we can discuss this.
Where do you teach?: I can travel anywhere in London.
When are you available?: Schedule will be discussed with the student. I try to be as flexible as possible.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I'm able to teach anyone intersted in Japanese, of any age or any level! The students taking GCSE are very welcome.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Yes, I have it as a Japanese teacher.
Do you have a personal message for students?: Learning languages is a direct means to learn different cultures or people from different backgrounds. As the Japanese culture is quite unique, you'll certainly enjoy learning the language!
