Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone and also Music Theory.

How much do you charge?
I charge £13 per 30 min, £20 per 45 min and £26 per 60 min lesson.

Where do you teach?
Nowadays I only teach from home.

When are you available?
I am available every weekday and Saturday morning.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and abilities are very welcome.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I am currently working towards the ALCM in Jazz Saxophone and dipABRSM in Classical Clarinet.
I hold Grade 8 in both instruments and Grade 8 theory.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Musicians Union.

Where and with whom did you train?
I have had lessons from John Fuest on clarinet and also Mike Hall on saxophone.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching both in schools and from my music studio for about 23 years. I like to teach all ages and abilities.

Tell me about some of your current students.
My youngest student is 8 and I have lots of adults going up to retirement age. I tailor my lessons to suit the individual. I have students who follow exam syllabuses rigidly and some who come with friends to do saxophone ensemble work who have never done an exam.

Do you have a personal message for students?
You are never too old to learn so give it a try! I'm friendly, patient and encouraging. The main thing is to have fun.
