- My name is Keith Muggeridge and I am a very experienced Brass and general Music Teacher. I am a very personable teacher who believes that learning music at any level should be fun.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach GCSE Music, A level Music and Music Technology, Associated Board Music Theory as well as being a specialist brass instrumental teaching.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a PGCE in teaching music. I also have a BA(hons) in Band Musicianship. I specialised in brass performing and conducting. I obtained a distinction for my grade 8 euphonium.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have 14 years secondary teaching experience.
As a brass teacher I am very experienced and have a 100% Grade 8 distinction pass rate - How much do you charge?
- I charge £22 per hour for Music Theory, GCSE and A level. For Brass teaching I charge £25 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
- I can teach from my home just outside Towcester, but I can also travel to Milton Keynes and areas around NN12.
- When are you available?
- I am available during term times on weekday evenings
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach brass at any level. I am equally experienced and comfortable with beginners or advanced players. I have taught to diploma standard.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare brass students for Trinity Guildhall exams. Associated Board Music Theory exams
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I obtained my PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1997 and my degree from The University of Salford in 1996
