Personal Message
I have recently graduated from The Royal College of Music, studying the clarinet. I live to teach. I have a bright approach to teaching, my outlook is that everyone of my pupils are a success, although some students just need a little more guidance along the way to become a star! In the past three years I have built up my own teaching service privately educating pupils on a weekly basis. My students love my enthusiasm and personal approach to their lessons.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach clarinet, saxophone and ABRSM music theory.
Tell me about your qualifications.
Studying at this amazing establishment, I have undergone some of the finest tuition from world renowned musicians, such as Tim Lines, Nicholas Carpenter and Janet Hilton, Simon Channing to name a few. When beginning at the college, I was undecided of what I wanted to achieve. After studying for a year I came across the Woodhouse centre, this is a brilliant office within the college that helps us build our careers and become fine young educators. During my time at the college I have put my all into teaching because I feel that I am able to influence the young and elderly, and therefore have a brilliant rapport with the centre. They have given me a great path to follow and I am excited about my future in education and conveying my skills into young minds.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have experience working with different organisations such as Teenage Cancer Trust, Mick Jagger Centre and The Royal College of Music.

I do also have experience working with different kinds of children, I do specialise in teaching children with dyslexia, however if your child does not have dyslexia that isn't a reason not to have me as a teacher. The methods I use are all visual so your child will pick up music quicker.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 an hour. However, if you live over an hour away from my base I will charge £5 travelling fees.
Where do you teach?
I teach all over the country: if it is worthwhile I can travel up to two hours to get to you.
When are you available?
I am available during the week and also on Saturdays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from age 6 - 18.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
All my students take ABRSM music exams. These exams are recognised all over the world.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I do have an enhanced CRB check.
