PGCE Citizenship and Religious Education (University of Gloucester)
BA (Hons) Peace Studies 2:1 (University of Bradford)
Cert HE History and History of Art (De Montfort University, Leicester)
A' levels in History, History of Art, Art and Graphic Design
10 GCSEs all A - C including English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Science and History

What kind of experience do you have?
This is currently my sixth year of teaching. I began my career after PGCE in a London secondary comprehensive, before moving to South Yorkshire to teach in the secondary sector. I have had previous teaching experience at KS1 and KS2, effectively tutoring for SATS catch up sessions on behalf of Barnsley MBC. Currently, I am Head of RE at a South Yorkshire school, responsible for the teaching and learning of 1300 pupils.

How much do you charge?
£20 - £30 per hour depending upon subject and key stage.

Where do you teach?
Will teach either at home or students' homes.

I am based in Wath Upon Dearne and am available to tutor in the following areas:

- Wath Upon Dearne and surrounding areas - Wombwell, Swinton, Bolton etc
- Barnsley
- Sheffield
- Doncaster (west only)
- Rotherham

When are you available?
Monday, Tuesday, Friday 4pm - 6pm
Wednesday, Thursday 5pm - 6pm
Saturday 10am - 12pm

Any school holiday by prior arrangement.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
Key Stage 1-5, plus adult education.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
Yes - current for my employer.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
General Teaching Council (GTC)
National Union of Teachers (NUT)

Where and with whom did you train?
Completed a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) with the Marches Consortium, University of Gloucester whereby four and half days of the week were spent in school teaching. Half a day was then spent at university learning the psychological and sociolological aspects of education - child development and learning techniques.
