I'm a trumpet player/composer based in London with a passion for sharing my knowledge and love of music with others.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Trumpet (classical and jazz), improvisation and composition.
Tell me about your qualifications.
BMus (Hons) degree.
What kind of experience do you have?
I've been teaching a range of ages and abilites for around 5 years.

As regards to performance, I'm currently a member of the London Sound Painting Orchestra, Nu Civilisation Orchestra and lead my own ensembles/projects. I've performed at venues such as Ronnie Scott's, the Vortex, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Barbican. I regularly play in a variety of settings from orchestral work to small ensembles to solo trumpet.

Awarded the Dankworth Prize for jazz composition 2011.
How much do you charge?
£25 per hour.
Where do you teach?
Prefer to teach at home (Greenwich, London), however I'm happy to travel around London. Also available to teach around Alton, Hampshire on occasion.
When are you available?
Please feel free to get in touch and we can come to an arrangement that is best.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels and abilities. Whether assisting with that first note on the instrument or sharing more advanced musical knowledge, it gives me great pleasure to be able to share my knowledge and love of music with others. I'm also able to prepare students for graded examinations.

Trumpet grades 1 - 8
Piano grades 1 - 5

Where and with whom did you train?
I've studied with Chris Batchelor (trumpet/improvisation) and Issie Barratt - composition at Trinity college of Music, as well as Mark David (principle trumpet of Philharmonia, Head of Brass - Royal Academy of Music, Martin Read (composition), Steve Waterman (jazz trumpet) and Pam Edwards (piano).
