Which subject(s) do you teach?
Laura Long teaches Speech Level Singing, a method which uses exercises to improve and develop the natural function of the voice - to smooth any 'break' areas, strengthen quality and tone, extend range and give more control. Exercises are used in conjunction with original and/or cover songs - in any style or genre - to include pop, rock, jazz, soul, blues, country etc. Songwriters also use the sessions to develop original material. Lessons are one-to-one, for both professional and beginner singers.

Tell me about your qualifications.
Laura Long is a certified Speech Level Singing teacher - only teachers that undergo rigorous yearly assessments and exams may teach Speech Level Singing.

What kind of experience do you have?
Laura Long studied drama, has performed lead vocals in several bands - crossing genres, from soul to country to jazz, runs weekly live jazz nights in London, and has trained with some of the UK's and USA's most influential vocal instructors.

When are you available?
Daytimes and evenings, Monday to Friday. In urgent situations (last minute auditions etc) weekend availability.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and all levels.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
No.

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
It's possible to tutor on line, via skype, but much better in person.
