- Personal Message
- "Patient, hard-working, willing to take the responsibility of the subject, motivated" - This is how my tutees would describe me as a tutor.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- GCSE/IGCSE - Maths Expertise in - A/AS modules - Maths(C1, C2, C3, C4), Further Maths(FP1, FP2, FP3), Statistics(S1), Mechanics(M1, M2, M3) Electronics Engineering Modules - wide range of modules like basic digital/analog electronics, Electromagnetics, Optoelectronics, microprocessors, control systems, semiconductors. I am organising a group session in first week of June. Topic covered : Edexcel C4 "Integration" Get in touch for details.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- Master of Engineering (Electronics) - 2003-2005 Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) - 1998-2002 One of the top universities of India
- What kind of experience do you have?
- 1-1 private tutoring services offered to 100+ students across UK and Europe at various levels.Worked as a visiting lecturer at a university along with 5+ years experience working as a design engineer at some of the top notch chip making companies across US, Europe and India. Feel free to look at my media files which show self prepared notes for an electronics engineering module. Similar is done for most of the modules. For A/AS level, solutions to past exam papers are provided to each student.
- How much do you charge?
- Money to me is not the most important thing when it comes to teaching. To me, it is the satisfaction that I would earn by making my students pass with high grades. Therefore, I am really flexible on the money aspect. I would not turn your way and essentially accept a mutually agreed amount. Still to give you an idea, the rates vary as per subject, year, time of the year, logistics involved. Hence the range could be anywhere from £20 to £40.
- Where do you teach?
- I am centrally located with walking distance access to East Finchley station and most of the buses running in Finchley area. I am flexible in terms of teaching at my home, travelling to tutee or teaching through online means.
- When are you available?
- I am very busy during the weekends as most of the students/parents prefer weekends. I am less occupied during the week days, so my sincere advice would be to call me up and book a session in advance as per your choice. I would do my best to accomodate you as per your convenience.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- My specialisation is in the area of mathematics, statistics for students at GCSE/ A-levels and I coming from Electronics background do continue to teach students at university level on a multitude of Electronics subjects. I am a firm believer it is a time and age for specialisation and therefore my adeptness in these subjects would be pretty evident once a student gets enrolled with me.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- GCSE, A/AS-levels, Engineering Degree/Diploma/BTEC Prepared few students for Phase 6 Electrical Science Exam
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- I specialise in online tutoring and I have all the latest electronic gadgets and software for online teaching. I have had quite a few students from different universities like Cambridge, Cardiff and Newcastle whom I have taught online. Please have a look at one of my media files which shows an online session for University Maths(Topic covered - Derivatives)
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I have taught 100+ students across UK and Europe. Some of the students I taught last year - 1. Taught Maths and Further Maths to a Cambridge PreU student. She was quite nervous about some of the topics in mechanics modules - M2 and M3 but after my teaching she felt quite confident about the subject and did see an improvement in her grades. 2. Taught maths to a group of GCSE year 10 students. The group had a mixture of intelligent as well as average students. All of them were quite happy with the pace of learning. 3. Provided a crash course in ICT to a GCSE student. He was quite satisfied with the way I prepared him for his ICT exam in just a week's time. 4. Taught some of the Electronics Engineering modules to a student from Newcastle university. The student agreed he gained lot of confidence along with knowledge in the subject with my tutoring. 5. Currently teaching BTEC electronics course to a student. I did online sessions for 4 and 5 as the students are based out of London. I am happy to provide email id and phone numbers of any of the students for a reference check or any kind of feedback.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- My personal message to students is never get bogged down or discouraged by the complexity of the subject or by the tough competition around you. By focusing and by working hard, your weaknesses can be transformed into your strenghts. A good private tutoring might be one of the means to make this happen.

Suggestions for Students and Parents
I have been teaching at various levels - GCSE, A-levels and university level students. The key to understanding any subject at any level is getting the basics right. As a teacher, I feel it is extremely important for a student to get the basics strong if a student has to get a liking towards the subject. This not only gives more confidence...
