Personal Message
Learning to Play Saxophone in Groups, is not only fun but very sociable and a great way to make new friends.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Primarily Adult Saxophone Groups
Tell me about your qualifications.
Co-Owner of Music Matters Music Centre.
Studied for Trinity Guildhall College Exams.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching for over 10 years, and in the last 4 years have successfully been running Adult Saxophone Courses.
How much do you charge?
The Course fees are kept as low as possible, as I understand most people have families and sometimes it is hard to find extra money without having to feel guilty about spending it on yourself. The courses are £65 for 5 week course (£13 per hour session). Courses are ongoing.

You may choose to do 1 to 1 lessons, and these are £13 per half hour.
Where do you teach?
I am a Co Owner of a Music Centre (Music Matters) in Portsmouth, Hampshire where all instruments are taught on a 1 to 1 basis for £13 per half hour.
I personally teach the Adult Saxophone Courses both here and in Hayling Island, Portsmouth.

Wednesday 6.30 - 7.30pm Grade 1-2 - Cosham

Which ages and levels do you teach?
Adults for Saxoophone Groups and from age 9 for one to ones in Cosham. Portsmouth
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Students are able to play for fun or work towards Trinity Guildhall Graded Exams.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I hold a Full Enhanced CRB. This is very important as during the day I also teach in a Primary School.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Its very lonely learning an instrument by yourself and having to find the time to practice. I have found that, since running the adult courses, that the students like the group socialising as much as the playing, and many of my students go round each others houses to practice. Learning takes place in a fun, social atmosphere and I endeavour to get all my students to play in a small performance twice a year.
