Coffee Cups and Wet Feet
Throughout my years of art education I have discovered the key to being a successful art tutor is to be a friend – someone that the student can just talk to – nine times out of ten you can iron out the creases in your ideas just by saying them out loud. It is never the place of the tutor to tell you that your ideas are not good enough...

Before I met Lisa I wasn't very confident at art, but she taught me it doesn't matter what other people think, its what you want to do. Lisa's really kind and helps you to make great paintings. - Tabitha, Age 8 |

Lisa is an inspirational teacher who encouraged & motivated Angus when he had given up hope on the subject. Lisa was full of original ideas which made the subject come alive, matched my son's interests & abilities and she brought to the weekly sessions her enthusiasm and love for Art which she passed on to her student and made him excited and involved and want to do well and learn. He did very well in his exam thanks to his own work but in the main to the input, talent and dedication of Lisa - Irene Garrow |

I liked Lisa as a tutor because she wasn't just about teaching Art but about encouraging the artist inside. - Angus, Age 17 |
