I teach cello to whole string classes as part of the Wider Opportunities scheme in a school in Islington. This involves teaching a class of approx. 30 children. Teaching them songs, rhythm games and kodaly and then teaching a group of about eight cellists together . I have also taught sport at two schools in York. I am part of the chamber tots at Wigmore Hall series with my quartet, which involves performing and then leading a workshop with the children and their parents afterwards. I charge £30 an hour for both cello and chamber music. I would charge £20 for half an hour. If for any reason you need to cancel lessons you will need to let me know more than 24hours in advance otherwise you are still liable to pay for the lesson.
