Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the Cello and the Piano.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have just completed my undergraduate BMus degree in performance studies at Triniy College of Music. Also, I am currently studying a two year Applied Instrumental Teaching Skills course. Fnally, I have beginners course in Kodaly Musicianship.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught many students of different ages and standards. I currently teach privately and am a cello tutor for Wandsworth council where i teach groups, pairs and individuals.
How much do you charge?
I charge £25 an hour, and £12 for half an hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach at home but am also willing to travel to the students home. I live in Stoke Newington (north east london, in the borough of Hackney) which is easy to get to via public transport on bus and overground train.
When are you available?
Being a musician my timetable can vary a lot, but lessons can be arranged on a weekly basis. I am available to teach weekdays and weekends at all times, but sometimes flexibility will be necessary.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels from beginner to advanced on the cello. I also have my Grade 8 piano so can teach beginner piano, and also have my Grade 5 theory so I can also help with this.
Do you have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a cello teacher for Wandsworth council.
Where and with whom did you train?
I have a BMus degree from Trinity College of Music and have studied with established cellists such as Justin Pearson, Philip Sheppard and Joely Koos.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am patient and dedicated and am looking forward to taking on new students.
Why I Became a Tutor
I became a tutor because I enjoy working with children, making learning fun and diverse. I have taught children and adults of all ages and standards, and I enjoy adapting teaching methods according to the student's needs and how they learn best.
