Personal Message
I teach a wide range of Speech and Drama subjects to a wide range of people, from youngsters taking graded Speech and Drama examinations to professionals wanting help with presentation skills. I don't deal with pathological speech problems, which need to be referred to a Speech and Language Therapist, but anything else to do with speech and verbal communication, "elocution", voice (not singing), or drama (graded examinations in acting, mime, improvisation, speaking verse and prose, reading for performance, etc) comes within my field. If you're not sure if your requirement is covered here please contact me to find out. If I can't help I may be able to put you in touch with someone who can.

With a qualified private LAMDA teacher.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I usually have approximately 15-25 private students during the term. Approximately half of these will be preparing for the LAMDA or RADA examinations or auditions for drama school, National Youth Theatre, etc. The rest come for various reasons to do with voice and speech or presentation/communication skills and public speaking. I have recently taught three BBC South Today news reporters, several freelance broadcast journalists and presenters, a lay preacher, a curate, several business people, trainee teachers, an author wishing to gain speaking skills in order to promote her book and one or two models and background artists wishing to break into acting. I often coach non-native speakers of English to improve their pronunciation and people lacking public speaking experience who have such daunting prospects as wedding speeches, etc, looming large. My students are all ages and from all backgrounds.
Do you have a personal message for students?
You can see that I offer a wide range of training in communication skills and drama. If your situation is not mentioned here please contact me to see if I can help. You will find much more information on my website.
