I teach English at all levels.

MA English Literature, Oxford University. MA UCNW, PGCE Leicester University, RSA Prep Cert Tefl.

What kind of experience do you have?
I am a practising teacher, and have tutored for over 20 years.
I have tutored English at Key Stage 2, 3, SATS, GCSE, A Level, as well as for phonics, reading and spelling difficulties, handwriting and punctuation. I have tutored essay technique, exam techniques and also prepared students for 11 plus English and other entrance exams. I have tutored students for FCE, IELTS, Advanced and Proficiency. I have tutored for over 20 years with excellent results. I have been a GCSE examiner and a SATS examiner.

How much do you charge?
I charge between £25 and £28 per hour.

Where do you teach?
I only tutor from home. I am based in central East Grinstead, right by the railway station.

When are you available?
I am available daytimes, weekends and evenings. I also do special tuition sessions or packages in the holidays.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and levels from 7 to adult. I tutor 11 plus English, entrance exams, Key Stage 2, 3, 4, GCSE and A Level English. I tutor dyslexic students and those with reading and spelling difficulties. I also tutor Cambridge FCE, Advanced, Proficiency, IELTs and pronunciation. I support students on BA and MA degree courses. Finally, I tutor for the QTS Literacy Test.

I have a CRB disclosure certificate.
