CITP – Certified IT Practitioner. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have lectured, trained and coached extensively as a Management Consultant both to Companies and individuals.
In addition to extensive tutoring, I also work as an A Level teacher in a secondary school.
I am currently a Governor at my children's school and actively involved in monitoring and assisting with curriculum delivery. - How much do you charge?
- My standard rate is £30 per hour at A level and GCSE standard. I usually visit the student and this includes all travelling time expenses.
Professional qualification support (business and scientific/engineering exams) is charged at £35ph. - Where do you teach?
- I usually teach at the student's home. I am willing to travel within a radius of apprx 6 miles from the centre of Eton and this incudes; Windsor, Old Windsor, Datchet, Slough, Eton Wick, Langley and Burnham.
- When are you available?
- I tutor at any time between 10am and 10pm on weekdays throughout the year unless these are class days at school - in which case only the evening is free. Quite often I will also work at weekends and will accommodate a student's needs as much as possible when it comes to exam deadlines etc.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All levels of Mathematics from age 14 through to A Level and adult professional qualification support (includes distant learning support).
I also help adults with numeracy difficulties and have often been asked to offer career advice relating to the importance and relevance of Mathematics to jobs and finding employment. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- GCSE Mathematics
A Level Mathematics (C1, C2, C3, C4, D1, D2, M1, M2)
