Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach private lessons to all brass musicians, as well as chamber groups of all kinds. I also teach arranging/composition, music theory, and musicianship.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold a Master of Music in Solo Euphonium Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music. I minored in advanced arranging, and conducted extensive research on the teachings of world renowned brass players on all brass instruments. I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado and have been an active performer and clinician for over 8 years.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have seven years experience teaching brass instruments to all ages and ability levels.

My performing experience includes
Solo Euphonium:
UNC Wind Ensemble, Fort Collins Wind Symphony, Soloist in the RNCM Brass Band, Fountain Creek Brass Band, CSUP Wind Ensemble, Southern Colorado Wind Orchestra, Little London Winds and Fort Collins Wind Symphony

Principal Trombone:
CSUP Jazz Band, CSUP Orchestra, Loveland Choral Society,Southern Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Pueblo Symphony, UNC Lab Band II and Trombone Choir

Other performance experience:

How much do you charge?
Your first lesson is free! Plus, get a free lesson for every student you refer to me. All brass lessons are 15.00 (chamber music 30.00 per group), academic lessons are as listed above
Where do you teach?
I am based in Manchester, but have teaching all across the Northwest. I can travel to your home if necessary.
When are you available?
I am available to teach all weekdays and most Saturday mornings.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I have experience teaching everyone from as young as 6 years old, and have even taught an 86 year old!!
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare you for all graded exams up to A-levels and college auditions.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes, I have an up to date CRB.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I have tutored students using skype, as well as email correspondence utilizing recordings, and pdf's if necessary.

I belong to the International Tuba Euphonium Association
Where and with whom did you train?
At the RNCM I trained with Steve Mead and David Thornton. While in Colorado I trained with Dr. Jason Byrnes. I have taken lessons and masterclasses from many renowned soloist throughout the world (available on request).
