- I am a cellist in Hammersmith, and I offer enthusiastic and motivational cello lessons and tuition to pupils of all ages. I strongly believe that music is something that should be enjoyed by all!

- I achieved Grade 8 on the cello in 2005
I have A-level Music Grade A, and Maths Grade B
I graduated from Royal Holloway University of London with a bachelor of Music (Hons) in 2010 - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have had a large amount of performance experience in solo, ensemble and orchestral situations. I have also had the opportunity to work with and coach young musicians in a strings club and a youth orchestra. My interest in conducting has enabled me to communicate positively and effectively to musicians. Having studied at Royal Holloway, University of London I have gained large amounts of teaching and academic experience which I am keen to pass on.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £25 p/h for all my tuition. Lessons for any other duration can be adjusted accordingly and fees can be negotiable.
I offer a free 20 minute taster session to all my pupils.
Travel costs are included. - Where do you teach?
- I can teach in the home of the student, or in an arranged venue. My preferred venue is in Fulham, adding £5 p/h to lesson cost. Please ask for further details.
- When are you available?
- I am available most mornings and afternoons, and some evenings.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach Primary, Secondary and Adult pupils. I teach from beginner level to grade 8. I do not make pupils sit exams, as often they want to learn for their own enjoyment. I like to think that am flexible to all of my pupils needs.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- Academic: Any major examination board.
Instrumental: ABRSM Grades 1-8 - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?

- Where and with whom did you train?
- I have had extensive training since the age of 8 with my local cello teacher, Elizabeth Anderson. I am very fortunate to have had such a professional teacher from an early age, and I have learned a lot from her teaching methods.
I also trained at Royal Holloway in performance with Erik Levi.

Learning Methods
I come from the opinion of both Kodaly and Jaques-Dalcroze in that all musical learning must take place via the ear not the intellect. The teaching methods of awakening the senses and training the ear should always precede that of notation. In younger pupils, putting in practice the use of games, movement creativity and improvisation enables...
