- I provide high quality tutoring service to foster pupils' full academic potential.

- I teach KS3 & KS4 Biology, Physics and Chemistry as well as A'Level Chemistry.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have completed my first degree in Biochemistry at King’s College London and went on to train to study Secondary PGCE in Education Studies at University of Warwick.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- My undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and the PGCE in Education Studies have given me a strong foundation to teach Chemistry and Biology up to A’ Level standard. Through my role as a private tutor and a science trainee teacher I have gained experience in teaching all three GCSE and BTEC sciences as well as A’ Level Chemistry. During my professional placement 1 and 2 I have gained proficiency in short and medium term lesson planning. I developed a sound knowledge of various specifications and Exam boards. To measure pupils’ progress as well as to evaluate and re-structure my own teaching practice, rigorous assessment strategies are important. The types of assessments I use include formative and summative assessments such as self-assessments, peer assessment, self-evaluations, marking and recording pupils’ work on a regular basis, end of module tests and feedback giving. I give particular importance to exam paper practice allowing pupils to become familiar with the questioning styles and mark and schemes.
