I teach Biology to a wide variety of students of all abilities.

What kind of experience do you have?
17 years (current) teaching in the leading independent School in Norwich.
15 years examining for OCR, AQA and EDEXEL
15 years of very successful Private Tuition.

How much do you charge?
I charge £32.50 for GCSE level and £37.50 (per hour) for AS/A level tuition per hour. This includes lesson preparation and marking of work (included in the lesson fee). It also includes email support between lessons.

Where do you teach?
I am happy to teach at my own home or at your own home, within a 5 mile radius of my home. (if further then travel costs will have to be arranged).

When are you available?
I am available at weekends and during holiday time. Flexiblity is required.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach GCSE, AS and A levels to any age students who require it. I have also taught many adults who are re-entering part/full time study.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE, AS and A levels.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes. This can be shown and a copy given to the parents.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I teach a wide variety of students. Male / female pupils (adults too). I also teach many students who go on to study at the top universities in this country. I have taught all levels of ability to private students and they have always achieved what they wanted to achieve.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I approach my tutoring with a professional and organised manner. I will expect you to show commitment, be motivated and to complete any work that I set between lessons. I like to build a well directed and focused rapport with my students but hope to set a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I will also coach you in all the important methods of study skills, exam technique, preparation and practice. I also have a bank of past papers, resources and books that will help you along the way. The aim is to coach you so that you can achieve your potential, to build your own confidence in this subject and in exams in general.
