I teach Piano to all standards and I specialise in Jazz.

My fee is £15 per half an hour lesson on a one-one basis.

Where do you teach?
I travel to my students' houses, and from July 2008 I've also been teaching from home.

When are you available?
I am available to teach during the week between 3:30 - 6:30pm and occasionally during the day for mature students.
I also teach Saturday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30am.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and standards.

I have 6 different CRBs from various institutes.

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
On-line tutoring can take place in the evenings or on email basis, dependant on the students' preferences.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a degree in music with commendation for performance, I have over 9 years teaching experience and I am a professional jazz pianist and composer.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I belong to the Musicians' Union.

Tell me about some of your current students.
My teaching style is based purely on the individual.
I am laid back if necessary, yet retain extremely high standards for those who wish to excel.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Some teachers expect all of their students to practise everyday and to noticably improve from lesson to lesson, yet although this is ideal, it is not always realistic. I move at the pace of the student and I will push them if I believe they will cope well with the pressure.
I strive to put all students through ABRSM exams as often as possible, with both the classical and jazz syllabuses, to ensure progression.
I am friendly and down to earth, yet always produce the most from my students, which is reflected in my full timetable and waiting list of students.
