My area of subject specialisation is GCSE Sciences and Maths.

B.A.(oxon) Chemistry
M.A.(oxon) Chemistry
M.Sc. Software Development

What kind of experience do you have?
I have 12 years experience of teaching and Home Tutoring
including: lecturing at Huddersfield University
and Lecturing at Wakefield College

How much do you charge?
I charge £25 per hour for home tutorials. Travel in excess of 30 minutes is charged at 50p per mile.

Where do you teach?
I like to tutor students in their own home with extra support possible on-line.

When are you available?
I am available weekday evenings, with some availability negotiable during the day for home schooled students.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I specialise in teaching KS4 students up to GCSE, (occasionally up to AS)

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Online tutoring may be facilitated in a number of ways using email and messaging services.
With windows messenger the tutor and student can share applications and use a whiteboard. It is usually preferable to arrange some direct contact, perhaps monthly

Tell me about some of your current students.
Most of my students are coming up to GCSE, we tackle current topics of the students choice in addition to those identified for further study at initial interview. Nearer the exam times we tacklepast paper questions from the relevant exam board in preparation for the real thing.
