Grade 8 distinction and Advanced Certificate Music - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have taught all ages from 5 - 65, in groups and individual lessons, including complete beginners.
- How much do you charge?
- £30/hour clarinet and saxophone.
£25/hour piano.
First lesson half price. - Where do you teach?
- I usually teach from home though I am happy to travel to anywhere in Edinburgh at no extra charge.
- When are you available?
- I work flexible hours so am available daytimes and evenings.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Beginners - advanced clarinet and saxophone
Beginners piano - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- All grades but also students do not have to work towards qualifications if they don't want to.

- Where and with whom did you train?
- I have a varied history of study as i began playing classical music then progressed on to jazz. I studied at the college of SienaJazz in Siena, Italy under Klaus Lessman and Feruccio Spinetti, and at St Andrews' University with Richard Ingham and Richard Michael. I am also lucky enough to be tutored regularly by Martin Speake in London, and by various other world-class musicians in workshops, short courses, and masterclasses. A few years ago I received funding from the Scottish Arts Council to attend a course hosted by the music department of The New School, New York City where i was able to study with Billy Harper, Armen Donelian, Andy McKee and Rory Stuart. Tim Richards taught me jazz piano at Goldsmith's College, London.
