Personal Message: Hi! I´m Nora, a 28 year old German/percussion/drums teacher from Austria. I´m happy to hear from you and help you with discovering new skills!
Which subject(s) do you teach?: 1.) *I teach German. Either you are just interested in the language, have to learn it for school, visit a German speaking country and want to speak a little bit, want to emigrate, want to learn High German (for acting, business,..) or a dialect: Everybody is welcome! 2.) *I teach drums/percussion/Marimba/music education: This is for everybody who wants to: play percussion instruments/drums/snare drum or Marimba, find or develop their rhythm and/or improve on music theory or wants to get their children (or themselves!) in touch with (early) music education. Ich biete auch einen Deutsch/Musik Unterricht für deutschsprachige Kinder an. +Good to know: I have a Marimba at my place. +Good to know: I provide practise pads.
Tell me about your qualifications.: I finished my A levels in German, English and Psychology in 2001. I have a Bachelor´s degree (hons) in Music Education - Voice and Instruments - Percussion Instruments from Mozarteum Salzburg (2008). I'm from Austria so I´m a native German speaker.
What kind of experience do you have?: I'm a music teacher as well as a private lessons teacher (English, German) so I have a lot of teaching experience (I´ve started teaching privately at the age of 15) I also played in several ensembles and plays. I´ve worked as a drums/guitar teacher for the Arts Academy. I teach German and Music in the UK since 2009. I'm a native German speaker.
How much do you charge?: I offer: - discounts for siblings /families - group tuition - discounts for those who want to learn German and music I charge 25 or 30 pounds/hour for a one to one lesson. (please see subjects) I charge 17 pounds for a 1/2 hour lesson. Group tuition negotiable.
Where do you teach?: I would be happy if you could come to my place. I live in Greenwich near Greenwich Park. Very close to Lewisham and Blackheath. The nearest rail / DLR stations are: Greenwich, Blackheath and Lewisham. Buses:e.g. 53/386/380. There is also a lot of parking space. If you live in Greenwich or Blackheath it is possible for me to come to your place!
When are you available?: I´m very flexible, so I´m sure we can arrange the perfect time and date!
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I teach everybody from 3-99. From beginners to advanced learners.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?: e.g.GCSE, A-levels
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Yes. * I provide a copy of my up-to-date CRB certificate
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.: I offer online German tuition: vocabulary, grammar, GCSE tutoring,..
