I have around 15 years teaching experience, several years of which have been internationally.

I studied Mathematics and Chemistry at Hull University, later gaining my PGCE in Mathematics from Keele University.

I currently have a variety of exam classes at GCSE and IB. I´ve always had some students in my IB classes gaining level 6 and 7. At GCSE, the majority of my students in recent years have gained A/A* grades.

FIRST LESSON FREE for any new students signing up for maths lessons with me before 27th January. I'm very passionate about teaching maths and this is reflected in the excellent pass rates of my students.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I only teach Mathematics.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a degree in Mathematics (& Chemistry)and hold a PGCE in Mathematics.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £45 per hour for one person. However, for 2 students I offer a £10 discount per student making it £35 per hour (a webinar style lesson). I would charge a class of 3 students, £30 per student.
Furthermore, the First Lesson is always half-price. Other discounts only available for classes including more than one student, as mentioned above. From time to time other discounted lessons are offered, especially during the examination period.
- Where do you teach?
London, Cheshire, Cambridge, Bristol and worldwide. Specialising in Online Tuition.
- When are you available?
Any time of the day from Monday to Friday (although usually from midday) depending on the time-zone of the student. Evenings get booked up fairly quickly. Saturday/Sunday afternoons are also available when required.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
From GCSE level up to and including A´Level and IB (HL and SL) Ages from 13-18 (approximately).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare students for GCSE, iGCSE, IB (Standard and Higher) and A Level.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I tutor online via Skype using a virtual whiteboard that students can both see and annotate on if they so wish.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I have an incredibly high pass rate. As previously mentioned, the first lesson is always half-price. My aim is to give pupils confidence when working with Mathematics. This subject is highly important for pupils wishing to study the Sciences (including Psychology), Engineering and also Medicine. An excellent grade in Mathematics is imperative for studying these degrees at university. Furthermore, I usually set up an initial meeting with the prospective student and a parent to evaluate the needs of the pupil whilst also trying to ascertain their current working level.
