- I am an enthusiastic young tutor of History and Sociology with a passion for understanding and conveying the processes that make the world we live in. By passing on the key skills of critical thinking, analysis and essay writing, I work with students to enable them to achieve their potential.

- I teach History and Sociology, up to A2-level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology, from the University of Manchester.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been tutoring since 2009 (music technology).
I also have experience of working with severe learning disabilities, as I spent 2 years working in a care home for autistic adults. - How much do you charge?
- 20 pounds an hour. Discounts available for group lessons.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at student homes. I am willing to travel outside of Manchester by arrangement. Nearby areas to which I will travel include: Bury, Stockport, Bolton and Oldham.
- When are you available?
- I am available for afternoons, evenings and weekends. Please enquire.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I mainly teach 13-18 year olds, but can work with all ages.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare students for Key Stage 3, GCSE and AS/A2 level History, and AS/A2 level Sociology.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes I can produce a copy of my up-to-date CRB on demand.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- Tutoring online will involve the use of emails and Skype software for webcam-based lessons. The pupil will need access to a computer with Skype and a microphone for this.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- Never be afraid to ask questions - it is the sign of a curious mind, not an ignorant one!
