- I welcome aspiring flautists and musicians at all levels.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I offer private tuition on flute (all ages and levels), musicianship (ear-training. all ages and levels), as well as chamber music ensemble coaching (ages 11-18).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I am a classically trained professional flautist, able to teach all core flute repertoire. I am also a Kodaly Concept ear-training specialist, and a strong advocate of classical chamber music/small ensemble work for younger students, ages 11-18.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have 25 years' experience in private and international schools, as well as extensive experience as a solo recitalist and chamber music performer. I perform locally in London and the surrounding areas.
- How much do you charge?
- My fees are £35 per hour (travelling £42), and £20 per 45-minute lesson (£27 travelling). I am negotiable for other possible rates dependent upon your location.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach both at home and in your home. Nearby towns are: Woolwich, Welling, Blackheath, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Charlton. In certain cases I may be able to travel further afield, please contact me to discuss.
- When are you available?
- I am available primarily during term times, but am flexible as to school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All levels are welcome, beginners to advanced students, ages 8+
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- If requested, I can prepare and enter students for ABRSM as well as Trinity Guildhall examinations.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- I have an Enhanced CRB.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- Master's equivalent from the Franz Liszt Music Academy (Budapest, Hungary), and a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, USA). Main teachers: Adeline Tomasone, Istvan Matuz, Sean Deibler, Ferenc Rados (chamber music).
