Personal Message

I am a fully qualified piano and voice tutor who works professionally as a musician in the industry, and uses a practical and hands on approach to tuition. Results guaranteed within the first 4 weeks. For career or for pleasure, students' programmes are tailored to their needs. Students are also encouraged to record their progress by being granted use of the GSOM recording studio built in the teaching base when pieces are to a good performance level.

What kind of experience do you have?
15 years teaching experience. I also am employed by the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD, Glasgow), The University of Strathclyde, GAMTA (Glasgow Academy of music Theatre Arts) as a freelance tutor. I have worked in the past for Royal Caribbean, Haven, Park Dean, BBC Radio and TV.
I was the King's Theatre Glasgow Musical Director for their production of Snow White in December 2010 featuring Darius Campbell

How much do you charge?
£10.50 per half hour, £15.50 per 45 mins, £21 per hour

Where do you teach?
I teach at my teaching base at home.
Have students from surrounding areas such as Alloa, Sauchie, Menstrie, Falkirk, Alva, Clackmannanshire, Stirling, Denny and Dollar

When are you available?

Which ages and levels do you teach?
All.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM and Rock School, all grades. Also advise on SQA exams and university/drama school entrance.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.
