- Many people believe that mathematical ability is inherent. I believe maths is a learnt skill like anything else and once you've been given the basic tools any problem can be solved. I have a passion for turning this belief around.I undertake an initial assessment and then build a program tailored to the individual need of the student.

- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I originally qualified in Chemical Engineering at University College London and then gained a PGCE in Mathematics from the Institute in Education in 1999.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have had 12 years experience teaching in secondary schools and have taught children with learning difficulties varying from dyslexia, ADHD and the autistic spectrum. I initially spent 3 years teaching mathematics in mainstream secondary school delivering the curriculum to year 7 through to year 12 A-level classes. I also have 7 years experience working in a PRU and also worked for one year delivering individual tuition in a centre for looked after children in west london.
- How much do you charge?
- £25 per hour for GCSE and other levels are all in this region.
- Where do you teach?
- I am happy to travel to the student's home. I live in Ealing and will travel to most areas in west, north west and south west london.
- When are you available?
- I am available on weekday evenings and occasional sundays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach KS2 through to A level core mathematics. I have also taught adults in preparation for various college entrance examinations including electrical engineering, mechanics and air traffic control.

- KS2, SATs, GCSE,IGCSE AS level, A-level.

- I am a member of the general teaching council and the national union of teachers.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I trained at The Institute of Education in London where i gained my post graduate certificate of education. I then aqcuired qualified teacher status at Bishopshalt School in west london in 1999.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I am currently working on a one to one teaching post at Holloway school teaching pupils who are on the cusp of C grade at g.c.s.e but need that extra push to achieve these grades comfortably. I also have my own g.c.s.e and year seven and eight pupils at present who are working towards improving from level 4 to 6/7
in preparation for their year 9 sat's.
