Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach English Language and Literature GCSE and 'A' Level English Literature.

How much do you charge?
I charge £17 per hour for GCSE tuition and £20 and hour for 'A' Level. In addition I charge £3 for petrol if traveling.

Where do you teach?
I am happy to teach at my home or the student's. I will travel within a 15 mile radius of Bury St Edmunds. I live on the south side outskirts of the town.

When are you available?
I am available afternoons after 3:30 until 7pm.I am also available at some periods during school holidays.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students between the ages of 14 and 18.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a B.A in English and History and an M.A in English Literature.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I belong to the Institute for Learning.

Where and with whom did you train?
Undertook City and Guilds Certificate in Adult Education at West Suffolk College,Bury St Edmunds,Suffolk in 1992.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching adult students at GCSE,A level.Access and Degree level for the past 17 years.I have been tutoring students in the 14 to 16 age group for the past ten years.I mark for the AQA Board and therefore have experience in understanding the requirements needed to attain a high grade in this subject at 'A'level.Until 3 years ago,I undertook the same work for AQA GCSE board.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I have 5 students at present three of whom are working to achieve at least a 'c' grade in GCSE English language and 2 who are resitting 'A' Level modules.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I believe my work with return to learning students has lead me to understand that patience and understanding of each student's concerns,whatever their age,is crucial in developing confidence and the ability to succeed.
