Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I regularly teach at the North London Music Academy. I have taught classes at the Junior Jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music (course director Nick Smart). I was the musical director of the Imperial College big band for the academic year 2010/11, both rehearsing charts and leading improvisation workshops.
I am an active member of the jazz scene around the UK in numerous small ensembles, including my band 'Badazzbo’, the John Bailey Trio with Julian Siegel, and the Dafydd Williams Quartet. I have toured the UK with big bands and shows, including The Glen Miller Tribute Orchestra, The New Squadronaires, The Memphis Belle Swing Orchestra and The Kings Of Swing. - How much do you charge?
- £30 per hour
£100 for 4 hours - Where do you teach?
- I prefer to teach from my home in Highgate, but can travel to students' homes in north London if necessary (additional rates apply).
- When are you available?
- As a professional musician, my timetable is variable. I usually have spaces on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, as well as weekday daytimes and Saturday mornings.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All ages and levels from beginner to advanced.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.
