About Ben
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have extensive experience (5-7 years) teaching one to one lessons with private pupils of all ages and abilities on both Saxophones and Piano in a multitude of genres. Lessons are individually tailored to the needs and goals of the student.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Due to different boroughs of London requiring their own individual DBS certificate I would be happy to apply for one in the appropriate region if paid for by prospective inquiring School/ Music Centre.

I am a professional musician based in London who gigs all over the UK with a variety of bands and projects including those under my own name. I was trained extensively by and have played along side some of the most accomplished musicians in the UK.

- Where do you teach?
I teach at my home in Lewisham opposite the Police station (we have a music room and piano that make it an ideal space for taking lessons in)
Would be willing to travel up to 20mins from Lewisham DLR or rail station. Travel expenses would be added to lesson fee.
- When are you available?
10.00am - 20.00pm weekdays and weekends (subject to change with regards to gigs/other engagements.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
All levels and ages though preferably intermediate- advanced musicians who are already reasonably proficient on their instrument and wish to train further in a particular genre or discipline/ generally advance their playing.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Grades 1-8 ABRSM/ Trinity Guildhall and beyond
